India ranks among the lowest in the world in terms of tree cover. Urban and rural India is grappling with environmental, livelihood, and nutritional problems associated with the loss of forests and biodiversity. Our afforestation programs offer tailored solutions for these issues based on the needs of communities.
In urban areas, we find small parcels of land for high-density plantations inspired by the Miyawaki method, creating fast-growing healthy forests over a few short years. In rural areas, we create diverse forestry parks with native species that allow public engagement with nature and biodiversity. We also include groundwater recharge infrastructure, to capitalize the water-retaining effects of plantation zones. All our plantation programs offer ample scope for corporate volunteer engagement, in pursuit of greener communities across the country.
