Partner at KPMG India | Lead- Climate ChangeApurba is a Partner with KPMG's ESG practice and leads Climate Change. She is also the global proposition lead for ESG-Government. As a climate, energy and ESG specialist, over the years she has focused on solutions around deep decarbonization, ESG transformation, energy transitions, carbon markets, green finance, platform building, complexity economics, sustainability reporting and strategy, CSR etc.
She has worked extensively with the corporate sector but also worked quite closely with the government on policy. In her previous role, she was the Head for Climate Policy and modelling at WRI India. She is currently also a member of the Technical Advisory Group of the Science Based Targets Initiative (SBTi).
