Harish Yarlagadda is an experienced businessman and investor, serving as the founder and chief mentor of the Malaxmi Group of Hyderabad. He is an active member of the Hyderabad Chapter of Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO). An active pantheist and a futurist, his current focus is on addressing the climate crisis we are facing during the current Anthropocene Epoch. He is a core expert committee member of the Telangana State Biodiversity Board and a special invitee to the Hyderabad WWF Advisory Board, His past accomplishments include being the promoter of Lanco Power, Founding Chairman of Greenko, and Chairman of Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) for the erstwhile united Andhra Pradesh. In his stint at the CII, he actively worked with the team in setting up the Center of Excellence at the IGBC (India Green Building Council). Coming from the power industry, he understands the dire need for sustainable practices during the Anthropocene Epoch. His current focus on finding solutions both from the industry and biodiversity perspective make him an ideal representative to understand both sides of the world. His continuous engagement with the younger generation with his regular discussion boards and talks in educational institutes gives him a unique perspective of what the current generation needs.
