Rita Roy Choudhury, Managing Partner & Chief Executive, Climate & Sustainability Services at ECube, spent more than two decades at the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI), where she until recently held the position of Assistant Secretary General at the apex industry body. She has spearheaded policy advocacy, thought leadership, partnerships, programmes and projects in her role at FICCI, where she was responsible for environment, climate change, renewable energy, water and sanitation, power and coal, and also steered FICCI’s work in sustainable finance and sustainable mobility. In her role at FICCI, she was a member of several government committees as well as international task forces, Rita has represented FICCI in the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) Conference of Parties since 2007.
