We restore surface water resources and augment groundwater to help communities retain ecological balance. Water is a fast-depleting resource across India. Our watershed management projects focus on lake rejuvenation to restore the lost glory of urban lake ecosystems and rainwater harvesting for recharging groundwater in cities and villages.
Lakes are important hubs of biodiversity, public engagement, and local watershed conservation. We have rejuvenated 7 lakes across Hyderabad, transforming contaminated and visually unappealing spaces into beautiful, clean, and well-balanced ecosystems. We provide volunteering opportunities and capitalize on local community engagement to ensure the sustenance of our efforts.
Groundwater contamination and depletion are an impending disaster for our villages and cities to reckon with. We co-locate groundwater recharge infrastructure with our plantation projects, drawing on the synergy of increased rainwater percolation and root system-based water retention to improve the levels and quality of this valuable resource.
